CSEDUAA Annual General Meeting (AGM) - 2024 was held on April 26, 2024
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Alumni Association of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka (CSEDUAA) was held on April 26, 2024, marking the commencement of the executive committee's tenure for 2024-26. Attended by approximately 200 former students and faculty members of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering from both home and abroad. The event commenced with a welcoming address by Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, Chairperson of the Computer Science and Engineering Department. Professor Dr. Hafiz Md Hasan Babu, the Honorable Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Dhaka, delivered the commemorative address and declared the event auspicious. The AGM was organized by an ad hoc committee, with Prof. Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim serving as its convenor. The agenda comprised reporting on the ad hoc committee's activities, approval of financial matters, and a thorough discussion on constitutional matters.
The gathering evolved into a reunion of alumni, with spirited participation from all attendees, who collectively voiced their aspirations and charted the course for the association's future endeavors. A 21-member Executive Committee was formed for the 2024-26 term. Kazi Mohammad Mahbubul Haque, representing the BSC 01 batch, assumed the role of president, while Md. Faisal Hossain, from the BSC 11 batch, was appointed as general secretary. The newly elected committee expressed unwavering determination to transform the Alumni Association into an exemplary, impactful, dynamic, and welfare-oriented organization through collaborative efforts.
