This is the MS admission notice (extended) of the Department of Theoretical Physics session 2023-2024. The applicants will be selected based on a written admission test and an in-person viva examination. The application for the written admission test needs to be collected from the departmental office, 2nd floor, New Physics Building, Curzon Hall, University of Dhaka, and submitted to the departmental office by 2nd March 2025 (office hour). The written admission test will be held on 13th March (Thursday), 2025 at 11:00 am at the Department of Theoretical Physics. The syllabus of the written examination includes the following topics: Atomic and Molecular Physics, Classical Mechanics and Special Theory of Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics, and Classical Electrodynamics.
