A four-member delegation led by Mr. Pan Junfeng, Regional President of Huawei Technologies Limited of China called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof.  Dr.  A S M Maksud Kamal today April 8, 2024 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team members were Mr. Li Zongsheng, Director of the Board of Huawei Technologies Limited.  Mr. Allen Liu, Vice President and Mr. Authur Zhou Quan, Account Director of the same company. 

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint training programs on Fintech, Financial Technology, Information and Communication Technology and Smart Education between the University of Dhaka and Huawei University, China. They agreed to sign a MoU in this regard soon.

Vice-Chancellor Prof.  Dr.  A S M Maksud Kamal apprised the delegation members of a brief history of Dhaka University as well as its academic and research activities. He thanked the guests for their visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic activities.
