UNICEF Country Representative in Bangladesh Mr. Edouard Beigbeder called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today October 1, 2015 at the latter’s office of the university. Chief of Social Policy, Planning and Monitoring of UNICEF Dhaka Office Mr. Carlos Acosta was present on this occasion. 

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative programs between UNICEF and Dhaka University. UNICEF Country Representative in Bangladesh Mr. Edouard Beigbeder expressed his willingness to work closely with Dhaka University specially with the Institiute of Food and Nutrition Science, Institiute of Information Technology and Institiute of Education and Research. He sought the cooperation from DU VC to nominate resource persons to UNICEF to help formulate strategy in the fields of education, food and nutrition and IIT. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique assured the guest of providing all possible support and cooperation in this regard.

  DU VC Prof. Arefin Siddique thanked the guests for their visit to and keen interest in establishing collaboration with Dhaka University.
