Shohana Akter is one of the winners of SIG-III International Paper Contest (IPC) 2019 in Association of Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T). Her project title was ‘Perceived value of Social Media in Students’ Participation in Social Movement: A Developing Country Perspective’ which was a part of her Master’s thesis. Special Interest Group (SIG) - International Information Issues (III) is a group of people who works in ASIS&T for nurturing the culture of research in developing countries. It is worth mentioning that Shohana Akter completed B.A (Honors) in 2017 and Masters in 2018 in Information Science & Library Management at the University of Dhaka. Currently, she is working Alliance Francaise de Dhaka. Previously, she worked as a cultural centre staff at British Council Bangladesh. We wish her more success in research.
