DSM Seminar Library
The departmental seminar library was established in 2012. The library has a modest collection of books, articles, reports, white papers and grey literatures. Moreover, undergraduate and Master’s thesis papers and fieldwork reports are also being archived. The fully equipped library provides reading facilities only for the students. Students can use reading facilities, as well as borrowing books from 9:00, am to 5:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday. All collections have been managed by the most popular Koha library automation system. Currently, the library has about 2000 collections on diverse topics of earth and space sciences, climate science, social science, engineering and disaster risk management. Students can take two books for days by issuing a departmental library card. The library Assistant is in charge of the library and is also responsible to collaborate in meeting the required materials and services of the library.
