Notable Alumni

Md Joynal Abedin was a student of the Geology department (BSc Hons. 1970 batch). He contributed to the 1971 Liberation War as a freedom fighter. 

Later, he served as a hydrogeologist in Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) and develop different algorithms to establish hydrogeological models.
