A courtesy meeting between Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman and new Country Director of Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Bangladesh Ms. Young-Ah Doh was held today, June 18, 2020 through a virtual platform titled Webex.
During the meeting they discussed the matters of mutual interests specially ongoing development and collaborative programs between Dhaka University and KOICA. KOICA Country Director Ms. Doh appreciated DU’s efforts to uphold the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bangladesh and shared specific developments and next course of actions of the project titled ‘Creative Bangladesh’ to be implemented jointly by DU Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Center and KOICA.
DU VC Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman welcomed the KOICA’s new country director Ms. Young-Ah Doh and thanked the KOICA Office for its continued support, interest and commitment to work with Dhaka University on various fields specially on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Jinjoo Hyun, Deputy Country Director, Ms. Minseo Ju, Program Head of Education and Innovation Sector, Mr. Biswajit Kumar Sarkar, Senior Program Officer from the KOICA Bangladesh Office and Prof. Dr. Khondoker Bazlul Hoque, Vice-Chairman and Md. Rashedur Rahman, Executive Director of the Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Center of Dhaka University.
