The Council Meeting of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) will be held tomorrow July 17, 2020 in London, UK. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman will join it as its elected Council Member. The meeting will be held virtually from 4.30pm to 7.45pm (Bangladesh time) due to current COVID-19 Pandemic circumstances.

Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman is expected to hold bilateral talks of mutual interests especially on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), higher education, research and scholarship programs with other Council Members and authorities of ACU at the meeting.

It may be mentioned here that DU VC Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman was elected Council Member of ACU for 3 years in July 2019.
