British Council Country Director Mr. Tom Miscioscia called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman today August 10, 2022 at the latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by Head of Facilities & Security of British Council Mr. Tawfique Wahid.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of holding a conference in London in November this year to celebrate DU centenary. Her Royal Highness Princess Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise is being expected to inaugurate it. Besides, British Council Country Director has invited DU VC to attend the Global Higher Education Conference of Vice-Chancellors which will be held in Singapore in last week of November this year. The VC thanked British Council Country Director for inviting him.
