A two-member team of the Open University, UK led by its Deputy Associate Dean Dr. Tom Power called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman today April 05, 2022 at the latter’s office of the university. Other member of the team is Senior Program Coordinator of the same university Dr. Claire Hedges.

Director of DU Institute of Education and Research (IER) Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Halim, Prof. Dr. Md. Wahiduzzaman and Prof. Mohammad Nure Alam Siddique were present on this occasion.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest especially regarding ongoing collaborative academic and research programs between DU IER and Open University, UK. They also exchanged views regarding the new mode of conducting online academic programs by using smart devices due to Corona situation.

Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman thanked UK Open University team members for their visit to and keen interest in enhancing academic collaboration with DU.
