The seminar is being organized by the Department of Development Studies and the Centre on Budget and Policy,  University of Dhaka .

Dr. Shamsul Alam, Honorable State Minister of Planning, GoB, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The seminar will be Chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Honourable Vice Chancellor, DU. Professor Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal, Pro-Vice Chancellor, DU and Professor Dr. Sadeka Halim, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, DU will attend as Special Guests.  

Professor Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Senate Member, DU and Distinguished Fellow, Centre for Policy Dialogue, will join as the Discussant. Dr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Chairman and Professor of the Department of Development Studies, DU, will deliver the welcome remarks. Dr. M. Abu Eusuf, Director, Centre on Budget and Policy and Professor of Development Studies, DU, will moderate the seminar.

Professor Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, Chairman, Centre on Budget and Policy and Treasurer, DU will deliver concluding remarks and vote of thanks.
