A three-member delegation led by Ms Jun, Senior Project Manager of Overseas Business Department of the Publishing & Media Group Company Limited, China called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, December 15, 2015 at the latter’s office of the university. Other members of the delegation were Abel Zhang and Xuefei Bai.
Associate Professor of the Institute of Modern Languages of DU Md. Afzal Hossain was present on this occasion.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of establishing a modern library at Dhaka University with the financial assistance from Chinese company. The delegation members expressed their keen interest to provide facilities to DU students for doing internship at the Chinese Company. They also expressed their willingness to increase job opportunities for DU graduates at various Chinese Companies in Bangladesh.
