Denise S. Sharif, Director of the College of Advancing and Professional Studies and Musa Sharif, Senior Lecturer of the University of Massachusetts Boston, USA called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, December 30, 2015 at the latter’s office of the university.

Dr. Emran Kabir Chowdhury and Dr. Hossain Uddin Shekhar, Professors of the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology of DU were present on this occasion.

          During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on medical science and nursing by the University of Dhaka and the University of Massachusetts Boston, USA. They also discussed the possibilities of introducing joint PhD and Masters programs at the two universities. They have agreed to sign a MoU in this regard soon.

          The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique apprised the team members of the brief history of Dhaka University as well as Bangladesh. He also recalled the outstanding support of American people and media during our Liberation War in 1971.
