John McGovern, International Higher Education Consultant, UK called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, January 11, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university.

          Md. Towhidur Rahman, Head of International Higher Education, Bangladesh & Regional Manager (South Asia) of British Council was present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed ongoing different development projects conducted by the University of Dhaka with the financial assistance from British Council. The British government is willing to provide more facilities to DU students as well as Bangladesh for higher study in UK, the British Consultant informed. The possibilities of introducing training programs on finance, management, administration and leadership skills for DU faculties and officials in UK were also discussed in the meeting.
