A three-day long international training program on “Gas Chromatography, Quantification and Quality Assurance” jointly organized by the Asian Network of Research on Food and Environment Contaminants (ANFEC) and the Network of Instrument Technical personnel and User scientists of Bangladesh (NITUB) began today January 11, 2016 at Mukarram Hussain Khundakar Biggan Bhaban of Dhaka University (DU). DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr. Nasreen Ahmad inaugurated the program as the chief guest.
President of Bangladesh Academy of Sciences and NITUB Prof. Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmad presided over the inaugural function while Dean of the Faculty fo Science of DU Prof. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz and Professor of the Department of Chemistry Dr. M. Mosihuzzaman addressed it as special guests. General Secretary of NITUB and Director of CARS of DU Prof. Dr. Altaf Hussain delivered welcome speech. Member of ANFEC and Chairperson of the Department of Chemistry of DU Prof. Dr. Nilufar Nahar gave vote of thanks.
It may be mentioned that a total of 14 young teachers and researchers from Bangladesh, Cambodia and Louse are participating in the program.
