A two-member delegation led by Prof. Ola M. Johannessen, Founding Director of Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center (NERSC) of University of Bergen, Norway called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today (Thursday), February 11, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team member was Lasse H. Pettersson.

          Chairman of the Department of Oceanography of DU Prof. Dr. Kawser Ahmed and Executive Director of Bangladesh Center for Advanced Studies Prof. Dr. Atiq Rahman were present on the occasion.

          During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of strengthening           on-going joint collaborative academic and research programs on oceanography conducted by the University of Dhaka and the University of Bergen, Norway.
