Specialized Masters Program has been introduced at the Institute of Social Welfare and Research (ISWR) of Dhaka University (DU). Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the program as chief guest at a function held today 11 February 2016 at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban.

Director of ISWR of DU Prof. Dr. Tania Rahman presided over the function while Prof. Dr. ASM Atiqur Rahman, Prof. Dr. Md. Nurul Islam and Prof. Dr. Golam Rabbani, among others, addressed it.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique in his speech said, human welfare is the main objective of education. He called upon the professionals to come forward with humanitarian values to upgrade the human civilization. He also hoped that this Specialized Masters Program would play an effective role to produce skilled and humanist manpower in the country.
