A thirteen-member teachers and students teamfrom Yongwha Girls High School of South Korea led by David An, Executive Director of Korean Cultural Center called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today August 1, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university. Other members of the team are Dong Ho Jang,SeungHyuk Jang, Mean Young Han, Mean Seo Back, Da Rae Yoo, JueumBaik, Cho Youn Kim, You Jim Yang, Ji Wan Lee, Min Jeun, ZumJi Jung and Malgeul Sam Cha.

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs by the University of Dhaka and various educational institutions in Korea. They stressed the need for strengthening on-goingcultural exchange programbetween Bangladesh and Korea.

Later, Korean team members joined the anti-militancy human chain at DU campus.
