A three-member delegation led by Prof. Said Nourine, Deputy Director of the Centre for Applied Linguistics of the university of  Franche-Comte, France called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today September 29, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university. Other members of the team were Jean-Pieree Poncet, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of France in Bangladesh and Bruno Plasse, Director of Alliance Francaise, Dhaka.

          Director of the Institute of Modern Languages of DU Prof. Dr. Iffat Ara Nasreen Majid and Assistant Prof. Bipul Chandra Debnath were present on this occasion.          

          During the meeting they discussed various issues including expansion of French Language Course at Dhaka University. They stressed the need for strengthening cultural relationship between Bangladesh and France.
