International Coordinator of Life Science Faculty, Humboldt University, Germany Prof. Dr. Frank Riesbeck called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, October 2, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university. Prof. Dr. Shaikh Abdus Salam of DU Mass Communication & Journalism Department and Md. Obaidul Haque, Associate Professor of DU International Relations Department were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest. They exchanged views regarding a MoU to be signed between DU and Humboldt University, Germany on October 4, 2016 next to initiate academic and research collaborations on different fields including solar and wind energy sector. Possibilities of exchange of scientists, researchers and students and holding of seminars and academic meetings between the two universities under the proposed MoU were also discussed during the meeting.

The Vice-Chancellor thanked the guest for his visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in signing a MoU to start academic and research activities with DU soon.
