An eleven-member delegation led by Santiago Fernandez Mosquera, Professor of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) of Spain called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today November 8, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university.

          Other members of the team were Professor Amparo Porta Rivas, Prof. Maria Estrella, Prof Cristina Rodriguez, Prof. Wolfram Sichinger, Prof. R Polger, Prof. Pierre Civil, Prof. Mrs. Paula Lorenzo, Prof. Pilar Ordin Canales, Prof. Ignacio A. and Prof. Victoria V.        

          During the meeting they discussed regarding expansion of ‘Spanish Language Course’ at Dhaka University. They also discussed the possibilities of strengthening ongoing collaborative academic and research programs jointly conducted by Dhaka University and higher educational institutions in Spain. The VC apprised the team members of a brief history of Dhaka University as well as Bangladesh.
