A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Dhaka (DU) and Leibniz University Hannover, Germany was signed today November 30, 2016 at the VC’s lounge of Dhaka University to develop education and research. Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique and President of Leibniz University Hannover, Germany Prof. Dr. V. Epping singed the MoU on behalf of their respective university.

Professor of Leibniz University Hannover, Germany Dr. Claus H. Ruscher and Professors of the Department of Chemistry of DU Dr. Md. Aftab Ali Shaikh and Dr. Tapas Debnath were present on this occasion.

According to the MoU, the two universities will exchange students, academic and administrative staff as well as academic materials. Besides, they will conduct joint research activities on various issues.
