A two-member delegation led by Candace Rondeaux, Director of the RESOLVE Network, USA called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today January 16, 2017 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team member was Bethany L. Mcgann, Associate Coordinator of the same organization.

          Dr. Delwar Hossain, Professor of the Department of International Relations of DU was present on this occasion.        

          During the meeting they discussed various issues including the development of education system in Bangladesh. They stressed the need for conducting more research to face ongoing terrorism, extremism and violence at different parts of the world.  The possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative research programs on genocide, terrorism and extremism by the University of Dhaka and The RESOLVE Network , USA were also discussed in the meeting.  It may be mentioned that the RESOLVE Network  is an US based global consortium of researchers.
