“Dhaka University Telemedicine Program” has been awarded ‘the 3^rd Commonwealth Digital Health Award’ in ‘Telemedicine’ category for outstanding contribution to develop healthcare quality in rural areas of Bangladesh. Director of Dhaka University Telemedicine Program and Honorary Professor of the Department of Biomedical Physics & Technology (BMPT) Dr. Khondkar Siddique-e-Rabbani has already received this award in a function held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on October 12, 2018. It may be mentioned that Dhaka University Telemedicine Program is being conducted by the Department of Biomedical Physics & Technology (BMPT) of Dhaka University.
