Master of Development Studies (MDS)

This is an 18-month accelerated professional program having the following features: (i) four semesters study; (ii) 68 credit hours program consisting of 17 courses; (iii) a thesis/research work on development experience; (iv) English as medium of instruction; and (v) classes from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. during week days and any suitable weekend hours.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Admission is open to individuals who have at least a Bachelor Degree with Honors (3/4 Years) from any recognized University or a four-year BE/MBBS/BDS Degree from recognized Engineering Universities/Colleges/Medical Colleges. A Master Degree is compulsory for B.A./ B.Sc./B.Com (Pass) applicants. Candidates already having one Master Degree are also eligible to apply. Candidates with Third Division/Class or CGPA below 3.00 at any level of their academic career are not eligible to apply.

• Admission materials should be collected from and submitted to the Office of the Department of Development Studies from 25/09/2019 to 14/11/2019 (Saturday to Thursday from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.).
• Written test for admission will be held on 15/11/2019, Friday at 10:00 a.m.
• The admission test will evaluate candidate's quantitative aptitude, language skill and analytical ability.

• A total of 45 students will be enrolled in the program.
