1st Joint Student Seminar between University of Tokyo and University of Dhaka
The One Health One World (OHOW) of the University of Tokyo and the University of Dhaka are jointly organizing the first Joint Student Seminar on the 3rd and 4th of August 2022. The seminar will be held online on the Zoom platform to share research information and improve friendship between both universities. The seminar will include invited lectures by professors and poster and oral presentations by students in different fields, such as disaster and infectious disease, transportation and human mobility, structural and geotechnical engineering for human safety, ecology and environmental impact of human public health, climate change and green recovery, remote sensing and GIS, etc. The organizing members of the seminar are Prof. Dr. A.S.M. Maksud Kamal, Pro-Vice Chancellor (academic) of the University of Dhaka, Prof. Wataru Takeuchi, Institute of Industrial Science of the University of Tokyo, Prof Dr. Md. Iqbal Kabir, Coordinator of Climate Change and Health Promotion Unit (CCHPU) of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), and Prof. Masahiro Hashizume School of International Health, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo.
