Professor Abu Naser Ahmed Ishtiaque has been serving the Department of Marketing of University of Dhaka since 2002. He has professional research and academic experiences in the field of marketing especially on services, retailing, electronic commerce, and consumer behavior. In addition, he has undertaken research studies on development and marketing of tourism and hospitality industry. Professor Ishtiaque has 33 articles published in national and international recognized journals on various issues of consumer behavior, supply chain, e-Business, tourism and hospitality management, telecommunication, and finance. Professor Ishtiaque has supervised PhD and MPhil candidates at University of Dhaka (DU), Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), and Asia e University (AeU) Malaysia and examined national and international PhD and Mphil theses.
Professor Ishtiaque joined the Department of Marketing of University of Chittagong as a lecturer in 1998 and subsequently he was promoted to the post of Assistant Professor in 2000 and served in this post up to March 2002. He also served as an assistant proctor at the University of Chittagong from May 2001 to October 2001.
